In various construction projects in Jinan, the installation quality and post maintenance of cable trays are key to ensuring the long-term stable operation of the power system. Strictly following national and industry standards, and establishing a scientific maintenance system, is the only way to extend the service life of cable trays and ensure cable safety.

In terms of installation standards, the mechanical and electrical construction in Jinan must strictly comply with national standards such as GB 50169. Firstly, there are specifications for brackets and fixation. The spacing between brackets in straight sections should be controlled between 1.5 and 3 meters, and brackets must be added within 0.5 meters at turns and ends. The bridge and brackets must be firmly fixed with bolts, and welding is strictly prohibited. Secondly, the splicing and routing should be standardized. Special connectors should be used for splicing straight sections, and bolts should be inserted from the inside to prevent scratching the cables. The gap between the joints should not exceed 1 millimeter. In terms of grounding and fire prevention, copper braided tape should be used to reliably cross connect between sections of the bridge, ensuring that the grounding resistance is less than 4 Ω; When the bridge passes through firewalls or floor slabs, it must be tightly filled with fireproof materials and equipped with fireproof partitions to safeguard the safety bottom line of the life passage.

In terms of post maintenance, the operation and maintenance team in Jinan should establish a regular inspection and cleaning mechanism. Regularly clean the dust and foreign objects on the bridge, especially in winter, it is necessary to promptly clean the snow on the outdoor bridge to prevent structural deformation caused by excessive weight or water accumulation. For metal cable trays, if the anti-corrosion layer is found to be damaged or partially corroded, rust removal should be carried out in a timely manner and anti-corrosion paint should be reapplied. In addition, it is necessary to regularly check the fastening of the connectors to ensure that the cable routing is neat and avoid additional pressure on the bridge due to crowding. As the usage time increases, if the existing cable tray cannot meet the capacity requirements of the newly added cables, timely compliance renovation and upgrading should be carried out. Through the dual approach of "standardized installation+scientific maintenance", the cable tray system in Jinan will always maintain efficient and safe operation.
