In the electrical wiring system, cable trays are like a "highway" for cables, and various accessories are indispensable "transportation hubs" and "safety facilities" on this road. They may seem inconspicuous, but they play a crucial role in supporting, connecting, turning, and protecting the cable system, working together to ensure its orderly operation.

Steering accessories: allowing cables to bend flexibly

Elbows are the core components for turning cable trays, commonly available in specifications such as 90 ° and 45 °, used to change the direction of cable tray installation. When cables need to be routed around beams, columns, corners, or adjusted in direction, bends can create a smooth transition for the cable tray, avoiding damage to the cables due to right angle bending. For example, installing a 90 ° bend at the corner of a building corridor can allow the cable tray to conform to the direction of the wall, which is both aesthetically pleasing and protects the cable insulation layer.

The three-way/four-way principle is responsible for the function of cable branching and merging. Three commonly used in branching scenarios of "one in, two out" or "two in, one out", such as branching lines from the main bridge to the rooms on both sides; The four general rules apply to "cross type" cross wiring, commonly found in cable intensive areas such as computer rooms, allowing cables from different directions to be orderly diverted through the same node, avoiding chaotic entanglement.

Supporting and fixing accessories: providing "stable happiness" to the bridge frame

The bracket is the "skeleton" of the bridge, which can be divided into suspended, side wall, and arm supported types according to the installation method. The suspended bracket is fixed to the ceiling or steel structure through expansion bolts, and the cable tray is suspended by a suspension rod, suitable for hanging in open areas; Side wall brackets are fixed on walls or columns to support horizontal or vertical cable trays, commonly used for indoor wiring against walls.

Connectors include connecting pieces, bolts and nuts, etc., used for fixed connections between bridge segments. High quality connectors can ensure the overall rigidity and conductivity of the bridge, prevent loosening caused by vibration, and ensure the continuity of the grounding system to avoid the risk of leakage. For example, when laying long-distance cable trays, connecting pieces are needed at regular intervals to connect multiple sections of the tray as a whole and enhance structural stability.

Protective and enclosed accessories: providing "wind and rain protection" for cables

The cover plate covers the cable tray and serves as the "protective shield" for the cables. It can prevent dust, water vapor, and debris from entering the interior of the cable tray, avoiding cable aging caused by dust and moisture accumulation, and preventing cable damage caused by human touch or external object impact. In environments such as computer rooms and basements, cover plates can also reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure the transmission quality of signal cables.

The partition is used to separate the space inside the cable tray, allowing different types of cables (such as strong and weak electricity, high and low voltage) to be laid in different zones to avoid mutual interference. For example, in a comprehensive cabling system, using partitions to separate power lines from network lines can ensure signal stability and reduce safety hazards.

Special accessories for special scenarios: to deal with "difficult and complicated problems"

Variable diameter connectors are used to connect cable trays of different specifications, such as transitioning from wide to narrow trays, or from high to low trays, to ensure smooth cable transitions and avoid cable compression caused by sudden cross-sectional changes. When crossing the bridge between floors, the variable diameter joint can match the size of the reserved holes on different floors to ensure smooth wiring.

Fireproof sealing components are essential in places with high fire safety requirements, including fireproof mud, fireproof boards, etc. When the bridge passes through firewalls or floor slabs, filling the gaps with fireproof sealing components can prevent the spread of flames and smoke and meet building fire safety regulations. For example, in high-rise buildings, the gaps between the cable trays at each floor slab need to be sealed with fire-resistant materials to form fire compartments.

Detail auxiliary accessories: "Small body, big effect"

Grounding jumper wire is the key to the bridge grounding system, which connects each section of the bridge through copper braided tape or wire to ensure overall grounding continuity and prevent static electricity accumulation and leakage accidents. Especially in flammable and explosive places, reliable grounding can effectively prevent the generation of electric sparks.

Cable fixing clips are used for organizing cables inside cable trays, fixing them in bundles to avoid shaking and wear, and making the wiring more neat and beautiful, facilitating later maintenance and repair. In scenarios such as data centers that require frequent addition or removal of cables, fixed clips can quickly adjust cable layout and improve management efficiency.
