How are bridges connected at different angles? Now let's take you to know!

The connectors between the straight-line sections of the bridge, between the straight-line section and the elbow and reducer shall be the connectors matched by the bridge manufacturer. The thickness of thin steel plate of connector shall not be less than that of bridge.

The interface shall be flat without distortion, bulge and depression. The half round head galvanized bolt for connection shall be on the inner side of the bridge, and the bolt length shall be appropriate. After tightening, the exposed length shall be 2 ~ 5 teeth. For the horizontally installed bridge, the connector of the straight section shall be set at about 1 / 4 between the two supports and hangers as far as possible.

Generally, the bridge is not made on the construction site. For special reasons, the existing bridge can be used to restructure non-standard elbow and variable diameter straight through.

When reforming and cutting the straight-line bridge, gas and electric welding shall not be used for cutting, and special cutting tools shall be used. The restructured bridge must be flat and repaired in time, and the finish color should be similar to that of other bridges.

At the expansion joints where the bridge crosses the building, expansion joints shall be set according to the provisions of GB50168 to ensure that the bridge and the cables laid in the bridge can expand freely without damage when the expansion of the building does not endanger itself.

Because in new buildings, the bridge installation is generally carried out months or even a year after the completion of concrete structure engineering, and the concrete shrinkage decreases gradually. Generally, the expansion amount will not exceed the expansion joint width l of the building.

If it is found or learned from the civil engineering unit that the expansion joint of the building is large and may exceed L, the expansion treatment shall be carried out according to the actual situation.

At least one side of the bridge to cross the expansion joint has a long straight section, which should be more than 30m, or the sum of the straight sections on both sides of the expansion joint is 30m, and there is no horizontal or vertical bend in the middle. In order to reserve the expansion allowance of cable (or wire) in the bridge, this allowance shall be greater than the expansion joint width L.
