The connectors between the straight-line sections of the bridge, between the straight-line sections and the elbow and reducer shall be the connectors matched by the bridge manufacturer. The thickness of the connecting piece steel sheet shall not be less than that of the bridge steel sheet. The interface should be flat without distortion, bulge and depression. The half round head galvanized bolt used for connection should be on the inside of the bridge. The length of the bolt should be appropriate. After tightening, the exposed length should be 2 ~ 5 teeth. For the horizontally installed bridge, the connector of the straight section should be set at about 1/4 between the two supports and hangers as far as possible.

1. In general, bridges are not made on the construction site. When necessary for special reasons, the existing bridge can be used to reform non-standard elbow and reducing straight. When reforming and cutting the straight-line bridge, gas and electric welding shall not be used for cutting, and special cutting tools shall be used. The restructured cable tray needs to be leveled and painted in time, and the finish color should be similar to that of other cable trays.

2. At the expansion joints where the bridge crosses the building, expansion joints shall be set according to GB50168 to ensure that the bridge and the cables laid in the bridge can expand freely without damage when the expansion of the building does not endanger its own safety. Because in new buildings, the bridge installation is generally carried out months or even a year after the completion of the concrete structure project, and the concrete shrinkage gradually decreases. Generally, the expansion amount will not exceed the expansion joint width l of the building.

3. If it is found or learned from the civil engineering unit that the expansion joint of the building is large and may exceed L, the expansion treatment shall be carried out according to the actual situation. At least one side of the bridge to cross the expansion joint has a long straight-line segment, which should be more than 30m, or the sum of the straight-line segments on both sides of the expansion joint is 30m, and there is no horizontal or vertical bend in the middle. In order to reserve the expansion allowance of cables (or wires) in the bridge, this allowance should be greater than the expansion joint width L.
