Distribution boxes are essential power distribution equipment in modern homes and businesses, and their installation and use are crucial for the safety and stability of the power system. However, during the installation and use of the distribution box, due to insufficient safety awareness or ignorance of relevant regulations, Electrical safety accidents may occur. Therefore, when installing and using distribution boxes, it is necessary to follow some taboos to ensure safety and reliability.

Next, the manufacturer of cable tray in Shandong will talk about 14 taboos for the installation of distribution box:

1. A dedicated leakage protection switch should be installed inside the distribution box.

2. At the cable inlet of the main distribution box, a leakage protection switch with a rated current of not less than 10a should be installed.

3. The total leakage protection switch on the control phase and load side of the main transformer in the same circuit should not be installed together.

4. The lighting and power cables inside the distribution box should be laid in a centralized manner and should not be laid through pipes; Power cables should be laid along pipelines, while lighting cables can be buried in metal pipes (or hoses with shielding layers).

5. It is not advisable to install too many instruments in the distribution box to avoid adding wiring points and causing circuit disorder.

6. It is generally not advisable to install more than three measuring meters in the main distribution box.

7. All electrical equipment in the distribution box should be installed with a fixed foundation.

8. All wires and cables in the main distribution box and segmented distribution box should be multi stranded flexible conductors with a copper core cross-section of not less than 6mm2; The use of aluminum stranded wires is strictly prohibited.

9. The power incoming lines from the main distribution box to each distribution box are connected by three cables through segmented switches from the main distribution box.

10. Each electrical device has a dedicated power supply switch.

11. Special grounding protection and repeated grounding devices should be installed inside the main distribution box.

12. The main distribution box should have reliable rainproof measures, and water leakage and leakage are strictly prohibited.

13. It is prohibited to modify the distribution box and dismantle the protective device of the distribution box without permission.

14. It is prohibited to stack dangerous goods and materials around the distribution box.
