In building electrical engineering, we often mention that hot-dip galvanized cable trays and hot-dip galvanized cable trays are the same type of cable tray - some people believe it is of the same type, while others believe it is completely different. Since there are no clear terms and definitions in the standards for cable tray in Shandong, no one can come up with a convincing basis to convince the other party. To solve this problem, we can start with hot-dip galvanizing and hot-dip galvanizing.

The national standard GB/T "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Hot Dip Galvanized Coatings on Iron and Steel Products", managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Metallic and Non metallic Coatings, mentions the term "hot dip galvanizing" in Chapter 3. Specifically:

3.1 Hot dip galvanizing is the process and method of immersing pre treated steel or cast iron parts into a molten zinc bath to form zinc and/or zinc iron alloy coatings on their surfaces. The term "hot dip galvanizing" is not mentioned in GB/T.

By referring to the standard GB/T Metal Coating - Technical Requirements for Hot Dip Galvanized Coatings on Iron and Steel Products, which has been replaced by GB/T, the term hot dip galvanizing is mentioned in Chapter 3. Specifically:

3.1 Hot dip galvanizing is the process and method of immersing steel parts or castings in molten zinc solution to form a zinc iron alloy or zinc and zinc iron alloy coating on their surface. The term "hot dip galvanizing" is not mentioned in GB/T.

From the terms "hot dip galvanizing" and "hot dip galvanizing" given in the two different versions of the above standards, it can be seen that although the expressions of these two terms are slightly different, their substantive content is the same, indicating that the term "hot dip galvanizing" has been replaced by "hot dip galvanizing".

Therefore, it can be stated that hot-dip galvanized cable trays and hot-dip galvanized cable trays are the same type of cable tray, and hot-dip galvanized cable trays are the standard term. To avoid ambiguity, it is recommended to use the term "hot-dip galvanized bridge" recognized by JB/T and T/CECS31-2017. For more related matters, come to our website http://www.xinheli88.com Consult!
