As an important supporting and protective structure in the power system, the safety of electrical connections in cable trays is crucial. Although you mentioned that the bridge material is conductive and the connecting plate is fastened with eight screws, this is not enough to fully meet the requirements of electrical safety regulations. The installation of jumper wires is mainly aimed at ensuring the equipotential connection of the bridge system, preventing electrical sparks or short circuits caused by potential differences, and thus protecting equipment and personnel safety.

In addition, according to electrical specifications, although galvanized cable trays, trough boxes, and tray type cable trays may not require additional jumper conductors under specific conditions, this is usually based on the overall design of the cable tray system, the operating environment, and specific regulatory provisions. In practical operation, if safety regulations or design drawings explicitly require the installation of jumper wires, they must be strictly followed.

The specification requirements for grounding connection wires of cable trays mainly include the following points:

　　1. The total length of metal cable trays and their supports should be connected to the grounding (PE) or neutral (PEN) main line at no less than 2 points. This requirement ensures a good electrical connection between the cable tray and the ground wire, thereby ensuring the safety and reliability of the cable tray.

　　2. For the connection plates between non galvanized cable trays, copper core grounding wires should be bridged at both ends, and the minimum allowable cross-sectional area of the grounding wire should not be less than 4mm. This regulation aims to further enhance the grounding effect of cable trays by crossing grounding wires, ensuring the stability and safety of electrical connections.

　　3. The two ends of the connecting plate between galvanized cable trays shall not be connected to the grounding wire, but shall be fixed with no less than 2 bolts with anti loosening nuts or washers. This requirement applies to galvanized cable trays, which are fixed with specific bolts to achieve good grounding effect and ensure the safe use of cable trays.

These specifications are the minimum standards for grounding construction, and construction personnel should strictly comply with them during operation to ensure that the grounding connection quality of cable trays and their supports meets safety standards.
