The efficient transmission of electricity between different regions is called a busbar bridge

Busbar bridges are mainly used to connect busbars or electrical equipment at different locations, and play the following important roles in power systems:

Transmission of electrical energy: As an extension of the busbar, the busbar bridge can transmit electrical energy from one part of a distribution cabinet, switch station, or substation to another, achieving efficient transmission of electricity between different areas and ensuring the normal operation of the power system.

Isolation and protection: Busbar bridges can isolate busbars or electrical equipment with different voltage levels and functions, avoiding mutual interference and short circuits. At the same time, busbar bridges usually have a certain protective structure that can protect the busbar from external environmental factors such as dust, moisture, foreign objects, etc., improving the reliability and safety of the power system.

Easy to inspect and maintain: The setting of the busbar bridge makes the layout of the busbars more neat and standardized, making it easier for staff to carry out maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. When it is necessary to conduct maintenance on the busbar or related equipment, it is convenient to reach various parts through the busbar bridge, reducing maintenance time and difficulty, and improving the maintainability of the power system.

Optimizing spatial layout: In some large substations or industrial plants, due to the large number of electrical equipment, the layout of busbars is more complex. The busbar bridge can be arranged reasonably according to the actual spatial situation, leading the busbar from one position to another, avoiding the disorderly laying of busbars on the ground or in the air, thereby optimizing the spatial layout and making the layout of the entire power system more compact and beautiful.
