The high strength enclosed bus groove is not limited by sheet metal, and the shell of Ji'nan cable bridge is made of tile groove, which increases the mechanical strength of the bus bar, and the horizontal section of the bus can be produced to 13m length. Because the shell is made of tile groove, the location of pit ditch is fixed by bus bar, the distance between the bus bars is 18mm, the ventilation between the lines is good, so that the function of moisture-proof and heat dissipation of the bus slot is obviously improved, which is more suitable for the southern climate.

Because of the soft copper transition between the bus joints, the air type plug in bus bar is easy to be oxidized in the south, and the contact between the joint and the bus is bad, which makes the contact easy to heat, so it is rarely used in the south. And the size between the joints is too large, the size of the horizontal mother line is not consistent, the appearance is not beautiful.

Dense insulated plug-in busbar has poor moisture-proof and heat dissipation effects. In the aspect of moisture proof, the busbar is easy to damp and seep during construction, resulting in the decrease of interphase insulation resistance. The heat dissipation of the bus is mainly due to the shell, because of the compact arrangement between the line and the line, the heat dissipation of L2 and L3 phase is slow, and the temperature rise of the busbar is higher.

Dense insulated plug-in busbar is limited by shell plate and can only produce horizontal section less than 3m. Because of the small air gap between the bus bars, the bus generates strong electric force when passing through the large current, which makes the magnetic oscillation frequency superposition, causing excessive noise.

Plug type busbar is a trunk type system, which has the advantages of small size, compact structure, reliable operation, high transmission current, easy to tap and feed, convenient maintenance, small energy consumption, good dynamic thermal stability and so on. It has been widely used in high-rise buildings.
