Elements and Calculations Affecting Width of Cable Bridge

Width B of cable bridge is definitely related to the nature of cable task. Because of the different tasks of power cable and control cable, the width of cable bridge is generally different.

Power cable in the bridge is generally single-layer emission, so its device bridge width B is:

In formula: d1, d2, d3... For the external diameter of various cables in the bridge frame, the unit is mm.

N1, N2, N3... The number of cables of the same type and specifications mentioned above.

K1, K2, K3... For the spacing of the above cables when placed. The minimum value should be greater than 1/4 of cable diameter.

Under normal conditions, the control cables can be displayed or overlapped in the bridge frame. The criterion is that the total section S of the control cable in the bridge does not exceed 40% of the total section S 0 of the cable bridge. The section S of the control cable is:

Formula: S1, S2, S3... The cross-sectional area of various control cables in the bridge frame (including the local protective layer) is mm2; d1, d2, D3.. For the external diameter of various control cables in the bridge, the unit is mm; n1, n2, N3.. The number of cables of the same type and specifications mentioned above.

The width of the corresponding control cable bridge is b:

Type: H - the height of cable bridge in mm.

In order to keep the bridge straight and beautiful and divide into different parts, the degree and direction of load deformation should be generally controlled within 4.0 mm. According to the width of the selected cable bridge and the load deformation in the required direction of the degree of the bridge, the load characteristic curve of the corresponding mechanism mode of the bridge can be checked. When the deformation requirement can not be met, the side height of the bridge can be appropriately increased or the spacing of the support can be reduced to meet the requirements of the device.
