Shandong Cable Bridge Company here reminds you that cable and cable in the process of transportation and storage to be very careful, the following will give you a summary, I hope to help you!

1. It is strictly forbidden to throw cables or cable trays with cables from high places in transportation, especially at lower temperatures (generally around 5 C and below). Cables thrown or dropped may lead to insulation and sheath cracking.

2. Avoid storing cables in open air as far as possible. Cable discs are not allowed to be laid flat.

3. When lifting packages, it is strictly forbidden to hoist several plates at the same time. In vehicles, ships and other means of transport, cable trays should be fixed by appropriate methods to prevent collision or overturn, in order to prevent mechanical damage to the cable.

4. Cables are strictly prohibited from contacting acids, alkalis and mineral oils. They should be stored in isolation from corrosive substances. No harmful gases that damage insulation and corrode metals may exist in the storehouses of cables.

5. Cables should be rolled regularly during storage (once every three months in summer and postponed in other seasons as appropriate). When rolling, roll down the edge of the storage plate and upward to avoid dampness and decay on the bottom. Always pay attention to the integrity of cable head when storing.

6. The storage period of cables is limited to the time of product leaving factory. Generally, it should not exceed one and a half years, and the longest is not more than two years.
